What We Do
The Insita Group is a social impact fund that supports organizations across the country that combat injustice in the child welfare and criminal justice systems.
We work to reform the child welfare system to keep families intact and thriving rather than inflicting lifelong trauma and hardship through unnecessary child removals and incarceration in congregate care facilities.
In the criminal justices system, we support efforts to significantly reduce incarceration, restrict the use of probation, expand parole opportunities, and end the cycle of debt caused by burdensome court fines and fees.
We collaborate with entrepreneurs, community leaders, and organizations who share our goals utilizing advocacy, coalition building, leadership training and litigation. We seek solutions driven by both data and directly impacted people to attack systemic barriers that deprive low-income families and communities of securing safe, healthy and prosperous lives.

Who We Are
The Insita Group and the Redlich Horwitz Foundation were founded by Rob Horwitz and Cathy Redlich. Both organizations invest in advocacy and organizations that work to eliminate the harm caused by historically unjust systems and look to build new ones based upon equity and justice.

We believe that philanthropy should act as a catalyst to eliminate social and racial injustices caused by government systems.
